JSON ⇄ YAML ⇄ CSV Converter

Convert the same data between JSON, YAML and CSV. Move a config file between YAML and JSON, or turn an API response (a JSON array) into a CSV you can open in a spreadsheet. Instead of quietly misreading, it stops at syntax it doesn't know and tells you the line.

YAML support covers the widely used subset — where anchors, tags, or multiple documents appear, this stops and says so rather than misreading them.

Good to know

  • The page audit reads HTML you paste — use the Link checker to follow a link
  • YAML support covers the widely used syntax only
  • JWT decoding unpacks the contents; it does not verify the signature

Frequently asked questions

What JSON shape converts to CSV?

An array of objects. The keys become the header row, and nested arrays or objects go into a single cell as JSON text.

Does it read YAML anchors (&) or tags (!!)?

No. It reads the common subset — mappings, lists, quotes, block text — and stops with an error on anchors, tags or multiple documents rather than misreading them.

Does semicolon- or tab-separated CSV work?

Yes. It detects whether commas, semicolons or tabs separate the fields.
