File sharing
Recipients can download without an account.About this tool
Upload a file and it becomes a share link right away. Each link can carry an expiry date, a password and a download cap, so the recipient needs no account while the link does not live forever. It is built for handing a work file over once.
How to use it
- 1 Sign in and drop the file. The free-plan limits are stated on screen before you upload.
- 2 Set the expiry, the password and the download cap — each is set per link.
- 3 Copy the link and hand it over. The recipient downloads from it without signing in.
Good to know
- No notification telling you when someone downloaded the file
- No inbox for others to upload files to you yet
Frequently asked questions
Does the recipient need an account?
No. Anyone with the link can download it. If you set a password, you only need to pass that along too.
What happens to a file when its link expires?
The link stops opening. How long a link can live is set by your plan, and the free plan's window is stated on screen before you upload.
Can I cut a link off mid-flight?
Delete the link and it stops opening from that moment. That is the quickest way to take back a file you sent by mistake.
