About this tool
How to use it
- 1 Choose the PDF to split.
- 2 To split every page, leave the list as it is. To keep only some pages, open More options, type a range such as 1-3, 7 under Keep only some pages and press Apply.
- 3 Download each page separately gives you one PDF per page in a single ZIP; Download as one file gives you a single PDF with just the pages you kept.
Good to know
- Shrinking only recompresses the photos inside — a text-only PDF barely gets smaller
- Cannot set or remove passwords — a protected PDF will not open
- Doesn’t edit the text or images on a page — it works page by page
- Does not read text out of scanned pages (this is not OCR)
Frequently asked questions
How are the split files named?
The original file name followed by the original page number (report_03.pdf), so you can tell which page each one was even after removing or reordering pages.
What if I type a page number that doesn't exist?
If the range matches no pages, the list stays as it is and you are told why. If only part of it is out of range, the pages that exist are kept and you are told the rest was dropped.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Splitting finishes inside this browser.
