About this tool
Follow a shortened link all the way to where it actually lands, and see that page as a picture without opening it. Use it before tapping an unfamiliar link that arrived by text message.
How to use it
- 1 Paste the address you want to check.
- 2 The hops appear in order, including how many times it bounces on the way.
- 3 If you need to, look at the destination page as an image.
Good to know
- The URL you enter goes to our server — it does not stay in your browser
- Screenshots have a daily limit
- It does not judge whether an address is safe
Frequently asked questions
Why does this tool use a server?
Browsers cannot read another site's response, for security reasons. So the server follows it instead, and refuses private or internal addresses at every hop.
Is the address I enter logged?
Following an address means the server has to know it, so this tool does not finish inside your browser. Bear that in mind for an address you would not want seen.
Will it tell me if a site is phishing?
It does not judge. It shows you the final domain and the path it took, so a signal like a bank-branded link landing on an entirely different domain is something you can catch by eye.
